A fantastic dining experience with exceptional service. As soon as you walk in you are welcomed by the servers, bartenders and even the managers. The food was beyond anything I expected. The bone marrow tacos are to die for and everything else was just as good. Shout-out to Blake our server who ensured we selected the best dishes for our night out. Also, get the tiramasa. Best thing I have ever eaten.

Mind-Blowing Flavors and Unforgettable Service – A True Austin Gem Wow. This vibrant, upscale Mexican restaurant in the heart of downtown Austin is absolutely Michelin-recognized for a reason. My mind was blown by the explosion of flavors and creative spice combinations in every dish — it felt like each bite told a story. The cocktails were incredibly well-crafted and came out quickly, setting the tone for what turned out to be one of the best dining experiences my wife and I have ever had. Their bone marrow tacos are a must. Rich, bold, and packed with flavors, the fish tacos were equally phenomenal. After we devoured the bone marrow tacos, one of the bartenders surprised us by coming over and recommending we take a mezcal shot down the bone to celebrate our anniversary. He even took the time to explain the origins of the mezcal. That moment turned an already amazing night into an unforgettable one. The staff here is on another level. Yadi the manager stopped by our table to check in and make sure everything was perfect — and it truly was. The service was warm, professional, and full of heart. This is the kind of place you rave about to your friends and we absolutely will. Thank you for an incredible experience!

Went in for the first time FINALLY with my friend as a sort of “cheer-me-up” girl date/birthday and was blown away with this spot! Rocky was not only our bartender but also an amazing server from the very start, greeting us with warmth. The menu was a little confusing for some things we were unfamiliar with but Rocky gave us great suggestions as well as helped us understand the rest of it. Each dish was uniquely deliciously with rich flavors that paired well with each other. By the end of the night we were perfectly full, KNOWING we’ll be back again! Thank you to Rocky and the staff for making our night so special!

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Food and service included. Probably one of the highlights of our trip to Austin. Bone marrow tacos were out of this world. We appreciated that they also had non-alcoholic mocktails that were well thought. Will absolutely be making a return trip my next time to Austin

I visited Comedor for the first time last night and was incredibly impressed from start to finish. Despite arriving about 20 minutes late for my reservation, the host team was gracious and accommodating, quickly finding a table and ensuring my evening started off right. I began with the Beet Happening mocktail—refreshing, subtly sweet with a healthy twist and just the right amount of kick. It set the perfect tone for the rest of the meal. For starters, I tried the bone marrow tacos, Comedor’s signature dish, and they were nothing short of exceptional—rich, flavorful, and easily my favorite of the night. I also enjoyed the crudo and queso fundido, followed by a beautifully cooked NY strip paired with a glass of Italian wine that complemented the steak perfectly. Though I didn’t have room for dessert, the general manager personally stopped by to check in, which added a thoughtful touch to the experience. The service, atmosphere, and attention to detail at Comedor truly set it apart. I’ll definitely be returning soon. Thank you Adrian.

Absolutely loved this place, the people that go there show how lovely it is, lots of regulars. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and have been there for ages. Bar staff talk passionately about the chefs and awards. RUN to this place and order the pavlova! As a long time pastry chef it was the most perfect combination of flavors. Loved it.

Went to Comedor to celebrate a friend’s birthday & couldn’t have gone better! It was our first time dining there and the experience was excellent. The atmosphere is intoxicating, the food was incredible, & Caitlyn, our server, made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. The entire staff made the night exceptional. Special compliments to the chef! Excited to return in the future!
